Extracts viral 30-90s clips from long-form video (podcast, interview, talk). Pipeline: yt-dlp captions, Gemini scoring, ffmpeg horizontal cuts, 9:16 vertical with blurred-pad bg + burned captions, per-platform descriptions, staff HTML guide bundled.
Beat-synced emoji-overlay 9:16 clips from instrumental performances. No voice, no transcript. librosa analyzes audio energy/beats/structure; Claude designs emoji timeline reacting to musical moments (buildup, climax, release); ffmpeg composites.
Members' practice-habit companion. Tracks practice time per session, builds consistency streaks, keeps you focused with timer + goal flows, and surfaces evidence-based techniques for getting better. Designed for daily use on phone or laptop.
Multi-campaign artist management: social scheduling, distribution, media generation (Veo 3 video, Imagen 4 images), PR outreach drafts, booking, tour logistics, cost tracking. Last commit Feb 18, 2026. 35+ bugs fixed in latest pass; multi-campaign support added. Missing: artist onboarding flow, whitelabel setup, public deployment.
Live jam-session management. Host curates performers song-by-song from iPad; LED wall + green-room screens update in realtime via WebSocket. Used at the Robert Glasper night. Last active April 6, 2026. Missing: performer onboarding, performance analytics, audio/video integration docs.
Tinder-style musician collaboration matching. Two-axis matching: skill level (Hobby / Working / Releasing / Pro) × intent (write a song, cut a record, find a vocalist, etc.). Members prioritized, non-members allowed as supply. Post-match flow = Session Builder (pick work, propose TRC room, sign split sheet by tap, room unlocks on session day). iOS + Web. No code yet.

Ten tools that would move the needle furthest for a working / releasing / touring member. Filtered for: distinct from existing tools, unlocks revenue or career velocity, leans on what's unique about TRC (the physical studio, the talent pool, the LA network). Not a roadmap, a brainstorm. Members and team can knock items down or pull them up.
Network · Member-to-Member
"Need a sax player Thursday, jazz, sight-reads charts, $300" returns an instant list of available TRC members with rate, portfolio, last-session date. Members hire each other, TRC handles invoicing and splits.
The TRC roster IS the talent pool. No competitor has this network. Cannibalizes Kelly Services / random Reverb session-musician searches.
Revenue · Sync
Member catalogs auto-matched to weekly film, TV, and advertising briefs. TRC negotiates the rate, takes a slice, members get cheques without chasing supervisors themselves.
Sync income dwarfs streaming for most working musicians. Songtradr is spray-and-pray; a curated TRC roster of vetted artists is the differentiator.
Content · Live
TRC films your show on the in-house rig. AI returns polished 9:16 and 16:9 cuts within 24 hours, branded chyron optional. Every gig becomes a week of social content.
Most members shoot one good clip per show. This turns every TRC live night into a content pipeline. Drives both member retention and TRC marketing pull.
Career · Touring
Every venue, capacity, last-sold-out date, radius clause, support slot availability, and fan-density-per-city. AI suggests the next route given current draw and radius constraints.
Replaces five spreadsheets every touring artist is maintaining. The aggregated data layer is also a moat once it spans the member roster.
Revenue · Royalties
Spotify + Apple + Tidal + YouTube + Bandcamp + sync escrows + mechanical claims in one dashboard. Flags missing registrations (CWR, ASCAP, mechanical) and runs the claim for you.
A surprising amount of member royalty money is unclaimed because nobody filed the right form. Catching even 10% of leakage pays for the membership.
Creative · Mix
Drop a stereo mix or stems. Get reference-based feedback (loudness curve, low-end balance, vocal sit, stereo width) versus tracks released by other TRC members in the same genre.
Generic mix-feedback tools exist. The differentiator: trained on tracks the member network has actually released, so the reference set is relevant, not arbitrary.
Live · Show Prep
Drag-and-drop songs into a setlist. See key, BPM, transitions, lock keys for a vocalist's range, share a tablet-ready show sheet with the band including MD cues and between-song banter notes.
Every band uses Notes.app or paper for this. A purpose-built tool with key-locking and version control is a daily-use tool for any gigging member.
Admin · Session Recall
Persistent record of every TRC session: who played, what room, gear settings, mic positions, monitor mix, takes that worked. Searchable. Auto-restores your last setup when you book the same room.
After 50 sessions, members have a working memory of their best takes and tones. The recall feature alone saves an hour of soundcheck per session.
Legal · Clearances
Upload a cover or sampled track. Tool drafts the licensing path: CWR claim for the cover, mechanical license, sample clearance for masters and publishing, flat-fee suggestions, contact targets.
Legal admin kills more projects than bad mixes. Removing the "I don't know how to clear this" blocker unlocks releases that members otherwise sit on indefinitely.
Network · Studio-Native
Opt-in real-time calendar showing who's recording at TRC right now. Members text "mind if I sit in?" The studio becomes always-on collaborative space instead of just rooms you book.
The most TRC-native idea on the list. Turns the physical building into an asset no virtual competitor can replicate. Doubles as a member-attribution log for collab credits.
